The sun has been shining on me for the last 24 days!

The other day I was facebooking when I saw a friend’s post, “I am going to France for 19 months!”  I thought, ‘that’s strange!’, cos I know this girl and there really is no reason for her to go abroad right now. I was ready to classify this as one of those emotionally charged decisions by the fair kind which I never understand. Sigh! But then I saw this post by another friend, “I am going to Italy for 24 months”. Weird! Cos this girl had absolutely no reason to go abroad! Wait am I missing something here. Did fb roll out some sort of free foreign trip to all? I googled it up and got this.

For those who are lazy to follow the link, it says this. Apparently this is some sort of a coded message by women to spread breast cancer awareness. Right! Read on. The location is some code for the month you are born and the figure gives the birth date. The birth year is left out. THANK YOU!

WEIRDER!

Get this straight. Let’s say I had a slight temperature for the last one day. I wouldn’t say, ‘The sun has been shining on me for the last 24 days!’ would I? NO! I would say, ‘I guess I have fever’. Isn’t that simple and straight enough? I mean which part of the ‘Keep It simple silly!’ series of ads did you guys not get!? Atleast now I know who they are targeted at! You wanna spread awareness, you use something like this:

This is what I call TO THE POINT!

Anyways at this point my heart goes out to the hundreds of folks who liked the post and commented on it and wished luck for the trip innocently! But then guys are guys I guess.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!! HAVE FUN!!! :)
